After breakfast we headed for
Arches National Park again. We did some general exploring in the car and then checked out the visitor's center, something we had skipped yesterday. That required several trips up and down the steep switchbacks (in the car!) at the entrance of the park. Apparently the big change in elevation here is due to the Moab Fault.
Our main destination for the morning was the Windows Section. We had hiked to Double Arch the day before, but had not checked out some of the other features in this area.
I am not sure I know the difference between a window and an arch but we found both the North and South Windows. Actually it was a little more confusing than it sounds. Only North Window is visible from the parking area.

From the right angle you can also an additional small window, but I don't know its name. |

This was a nice adventure. We enjoyed seeing the windows up close. However, we were planning on a trip to the Island in the Sky district of
Canyonlands National Park in the afternoon, so we headed back to Moab to get lunch and to fill the car with gas.
